Developing some eating out goals
Lorne (http://lornelee.blogspot.com/) has suggested that I should make myself some eating out goals…an interesting idea but hopefully they might work for me.
Lorne said “My first idea is following on from our blog chat about leaving stuff on the plate…. could you have a ‘leave something on the plate’ mini goal?” Now then, to be honest, I don’t think I can cope with that one, although I will potentially give it a try when I go out tonight. I don’t want to offend anyone by not eating what they provide!
An obvious goal, is to plan what I eat before I go out whenever I can and stick to my choices, not being swayed by special offers, etc.
My biggest problem is going to be the two buffets that I am going to. One tomorrow night, for which I have made Christmas Cake and the second on Sunday night (it was £15.95 per head so I’m going to have to get my money’s worth)!! The saving grace for Sunday is that half of it comes with olives which I don’t like!
I must say though, I am going to enjoy myself and I’m not going to stress about it too much!
you know my honest opinion…you have worked so hard. This time last year you were working on your Christmas goal and now look at you. Enjoy it without being crazy. Maybe drink water with meals to fill up, eat low or 0 point lunches on those days?
I'd just cut right back between those meals, and tell myself I'm going to be back at today's weight, by 4th January.I might not even weigh in between, if it would stress me.BUT I do like Lorne's idea – it's something I would find hard to do, and would be something to aim for anyway.
